Clinical Information

Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) using the MYC (8q24) Dual Color Rearrangement Probe. This probe is useful for detection of rearrangement of the MYC gene region, associated with various neoplasms.

Routine chromosome analysis is performed on all fresh diagnostic samples and is recommended on all bone marrow specimens to exclude abnormalities not identified by the specified FISH probe(s).

Collection Instructions

Multiple specimen collection types. Submit only one.
