Methylation analysis that detects both deletions and uniparental disomy (UPD). This test is used for the diagnosis of Angelman and Prader Willi Syndromes.
Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Whole Blood EDTA
Container/Tube: Lavender Top (EDTA)
Volume: 3 mL
Minimum volume: 1 mL
Collection Instructions: For optimal results,
specimen should be received within 48 hours of collection.
