    • Separate plasma into 2 - 3 aliquots, minimum of 0.5 mL each.
    • Freeze aliquots in plastic transport tubes immediately.

  • 0.9 - 1.2 *INR value is clinically relevant only when patient is on warfarin
  • Low Intensity anticoagulation theraputic range: 2.0-3.0
  • High Intensity anticoagulation therapeutic range: 2.5-3.5
