Test Name Alias

Clinical Information

Many hematologic neoplasms and disease have characteristic somatic mutations. The presence these gene mutations can provide critical diagnostic, prognostic, and sometimes therapeutic information. Correlation with clinical, histopathologic and additional laboratory findings is required for final interpretation of these results by managing physicians.

This test uses next generation sequencing, Sanger sequencing and fragmentation analysis to detect mutations in full coding regions of the following genes: CDKN1A, CDKN2A, CEBPA, CSF3R, EZH2, FYN, IKZF1,  KIT,  KRAS, LCK, LYN, NRAS, PDGFRA, PTPN11, TP53, U2AF1 and in target regions of the following genes: ABL1, ALK, ASXL1, BRAF, CALR, CBL, CXCR4, , DNMT3A, EGFR, ETNK1, FGFR3, FLT3, IDH1, IDH2, JAK2, MPL, MYD88, NOTCH1, NPM1, RUNX1, SETBP1, SF3B1, SH2B3, SRSF2, TET2, WT1, YES1, and ZRSR2. Specific regions covered by this assay in each gene can be requested.
