Clinical Information

The Epi proColon test is a FDA-approved blood test for colorectal cancer screening. This test is indicated to screen adults of either sex, 50 years or older, defined as average risk for CRC, who have been offered and have a history of not completing CRC screening.

Specimen Requirements

Specimen requirement for testing at ARUP Laboratories is 20 mL of blood in EDTA (lavender/pink top tubes).

Collection Instructions: Must collect full tubes and the blood must be processed within 4 hours of collection.
